Supporting God's Mission
Under this tree in Pomaire, Chile, we said "send us"!
To serve in the mission field on a fulltime basis, we are totally dependent upon people who faithfully support us prayerfully and financially in obedience to our Lord.
Scroll to the bottom for the many options available in supporting us financially.
So when people ask "what can I do to help" our answer is two-fold.
Prayer
First and foremost pray for our family and this ministry. There are so many men, women, and children that are realizing new lives because of this work and we feel honored to participate fulltime in it for the rest of our lives. We can't explain to you what the feeling is like when someone lets you know that they are praying for you, particularly people you don't even know. Prayer lifts us like nothing else, and it brings honor to God and His plan.
So please; pray for us.
Financial
Second is that we would like to humbly ask that you prayerfully consider supporting us financially. In the mission field we do not draw a salary from IberoAmerican Ministries; we are solely supported by those that God brings along side of us as our support team. We have enjoyed this blessing ourselves over the years in support of missionaries through one time gifts as well as ongoing support. It is truly a blessing to all involved.
What does this support look like? We have an approved monthly budget that includes our living expenses as well as missions expenses for travel and projects we will be working on throughout South America and across the 10/40 Window. In our budget we also have some one time "going to field" expenses that include things like shipping and language school.
We are looking for a support team made up of individuals, families, churches, and businesses that provide our tax-deductible financial support.
Your tax-deductible support can come in the way of:
Monthly support
Yearly support
Bi-yearly support
One time gifts
Many people have asked us, "what is it like to have to ask people for money to support the work that we are doing?". We came to realize a long time ago that everything we have has been given to us as a blessing from God and it isn't even ours. We realized this as a family and stayed focused on serving Him and being good stewards of what He has blessed us with. This also provides the answer to "how can you give everything up to go do this?". You see, we aren't giving anything up, we are giving it back to it's rightful owner to realize new blessings not only for us, but for others, and utimately for our King.
Dare to ask God how He would use you in His mission field. He will answer you!
Thank you all for the prayers that are already being lifted up, and thank you for considering your role in this ministry. We are so excited to see how God develops this team.
